Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative – Tier I is responsible for consistently supporting our customers by providing professional and friendly product and service information and resolving issues via phone (60%), internet (20%) or email (20%).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general phone support to assigned customers for all levels of our customer base
    • Fleet and mid-size
    • Owner operators
    • Vendors and agencies
  • Perform and recommend actions to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide Live Chat customer support via internet
  • Create and maintain customer accounts in proprietary account management system.
  • Provide shipping and receiving support as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide customer support and education through webinars and web portal training./li>
  • Provide customer assistance with Billing
    • Reconcile invoices
    • Explain invoice process and toll detail
    • Acquire payment information

Experience and Competencies Required:
  • Associates degree in Business, Communications or related discipline; Bachelor’s preferred
  • 1-2 year’s prior customer service experience
  • Intermediate/Expert Excel skills
  • Ability to utilize problem solving skills for issues and inquiries from customers
  • Continually contribute to cohesive team environment
  • Ability to consistently communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members
  • Ability to work and make decisions to support our customers with minimal guidance
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple accounts in a consistent and efficient manner with a high attention to detail

Business Development Coordinator

The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) will work collaboratively with Business Development Department team members assisting with the execution of business development initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development team regarding business development initiatives.
  • Assist with drafting, editing, and proof-reading proposals.
  • Assist VP Business Development in monitoring and tracking pipeline and progress to ensure team is on track to meet quarterly and annual KPIs and goals. Manage tracking of proposals and business development opportunities, including archiving.
  • Review and distribute RFPs to appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate proposal production efforts using WRIKE:
    • Prepare and track schedules
    • Prepare proposal outlines based on RFP requirements
    • Coordinate contract reviews
    • Write non-technical portions of the proposals
    • Assemble proposals
    • Coordinate production and delivery of RFP to customer
  • Coordinate and schedule phone conferences, on-site meetings and product demonstrations with current and prospective customers.
  • Actively participate in weekly Business Development team meetings and document meeting outcomes and action plans.
  • Assist the VP of Business Development in managing communication, social media, scheduling, and coordinating travel, meetings, and events with existing and potential partners.
  • Assist VP Business Development with the creation and delivery of client-focused responses to RFPs, customized pitches and other presentation materials.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of CRM data and any other proposal databases
  • The BDC is responsible for maintaining good relationships with current clients while simultaneously assisting in building new client relationships.
  • Continually communicate with Customer Service and other internal stakeholders the plan for customer onboarding.
  • Assist VP of Business Development and other executive leadership on special project administration as needed.
  • Develop a solid understanding of business, including internal processes, functional group strategies, and competitive context.
  • Experience and Competencies:

  • 2+ years of administrative and/or project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and quick communication response times
  • Ability to manage across multiple internal functions, with extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
  • Comfort in a rapidly evolving business environment
  • Must have strong computer skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
  • Strong working knowledge of relational databases (i.e. CRM).
  • Ability to multi-task and is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
