Product Owner/Manager

The Product Owner/Manager will be responsible for coordinating internal teams to deliver products that fill gaps in market and increase customer satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include gathering and documenting product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and ensuring all product initiatives are executed in line with the product vision.

This role will have the opportunity to build a product team in an early stage, high-growth product-focused company. The desire and experience to fill multiple roles and spearhead future team growth in a lean environment is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sr VP of Product and Strategy to develop a complete understanding of the product vision, direction and needs. Promote this vision throughout the company to ensure Development, Sales, Service and Marketing efforts are properly aligned
  • Responsible for the delivery planning and execution of the 3-12 month product roadmap
  • Spearhead building a product team as business need demands
  • Implement modern product planning and delivery methodologies and process flow
  • Create and maintain product documentation. Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product functions and features
  • Serve as Product Owner role in Agile/Scrum processes
  • Coordinate and lead internal teams through the design, development and testing of new product releases
  • Balance business objectives and customer needs, reconciling the goals of the business with benefits to the customer
  • Suggest and make strategic decisions on deliverables to balance full featured product with MLP (Minimum Lovable Product) when business needs dictate
  • Drive implementation, release workflow and associated deadlines. Hold regular project reviews with Development and QA teams ensuring that the product will meet business requirements. Perform user acceptance level quality assurance controls on products
  • Develop and maintain success measurements (KPIs)
  • Clearly and continuously communicate the status of projects on the product roadmap and in development
  • Manage product backlog
  • Draft release notes and communicate accordingly with impacted stakeholder groups

Requirements:

  • Experience implementing or influencing modern product methodologies in an environment where everyone wears multiple hats
  • Demonstrated experience creating effective business level product documentation
  • Demonstrated Product Owner experience
  • Experience with Software as a Service product development and deployment; FinTech experience a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to effectively work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work well with upper management and articulate views and business necessity of product
  • Self-starter who doesn’t need daily direction
  • Inquisitive – willing to ask questions and seek out resolutions
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong project management/organizational skills
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete the projects by deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Internal and external customer focus. Thrive on uncovering and understanding customer needs and working with internal technical teams to develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to travel as position requires

Partner and Provider Operations Coordinator

The Partner and Provider Operations Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, organizing, cataloging and analyzing requests from internal and external customers, including tolling authorities across the country. This role is also responsible for performing quality control checks, proactively identifying problems and patterns, and ensuring that requests are completed according to schedule and to the highest possible level of satisfaction for all involved parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, process, and catalogue PPO escalation requests. The position will manage and respond to requests via email, face-to-face, development tickets, chat sessions, meetings, conference calls, etc.
  • Review, process, and manage issues escalated for resolution with providers and partners
  • Assist the department director and manager in the development, implementation, and management of PPO services and relationships
  • Assist in the development of training materials and sessions related to PPO services for all customer facing teams
  • Contribute to internal communications systems to help ensure that information flows consistently and effectively from team to team throughout the company
  • Attend assigned trucking and commercial fleet exhibitions and conferences to lend support to Sales and Marketing teams in answering agency related questions, as well as company history and background

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in business, communications, or related field and/or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior project management experience preferred
  • Excellent time management skills; high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously with close attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills; excellent data entry skills
  • Established track record of solving problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with a wide variety of internal and external parties
  • Continually contribute to cohesive team environment
  • Ability to travel independently (car, air, etc.) as required
