Last week, some of our employees volunteered at the Capital Roots Garden Bed Build in Albany.
Approximately 20 Bestpass employees built garden beds in support of the Capital Roots program. Capital Roots is headquartered at the Urban Grow Center, a regional food hub in Troy that is focused on urban agriculture and produce distribution to four counties, enabling them to deliver local food and services to under-served neighborhoods and low-income families.
Our team worked on building their newest community garden, located on Morris Street in Albany.
Bestpass has a longstanding relationship with Capital Roots, including sponsoring toll for the organization’s Veggie Mobile and other fleet vehicles as they distribute fresh produce throughout the Capital Region.
