  • Owner Operator Sales Coordinator

    Bestpass is the comprehensive payment platform provider and leader in toll management solutions for commercial fleets of all shapes and sizes.     The Owner Operator Sales Coordinator leverages proven sales techniques to develop prospect interests in the company’s products and services to increase the Bestpass customer base through the acquisition of new owner operators and clients with fleets less than 6 vehicles.


    What it takes to be successful:

    • Identifies single owner operator opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails, and reviews service offerings and other activities as needed. 

    • Prospects, qualifies, and generates sales to web applications to achieve monthly/quarterly sales quotas. 

    • Researches, contacts prospects to identify key contacts, qualifies and drives leads through the sales pipeline.   

    • Works closely with core sales team, support operations and onboarding teams. 

    • Follow up and collection efforts a must during 1st year of clients’ service. 

    • Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in Bestpass scope of business. 

    • Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports as required. 

    • Be knowledgeable on Bestpass products and services as well as customer needs and requirements. 


    Requirements

    What we’re looking for:

    • 1+ years’ experience of inside sales B2B experience; preferably selling SaaS based products 

    • High School Diploma/GED; Associate degree preferred 

    • Strong phone presence  

    • Cold Calling experience a plus 

    • Strong listening and presentation skills 

    • Highly self-motivated; positive persistence 

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Support and Fulfillment Operations Manager

    The Operations Manager is accountable for the efficiency and effectiveness of the Support Operations and Fulfillment teams, who provides customer and toll data processing as well as customer order processing and fulfillment.


    What it takes to be successful:

    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes; monitor work activity, efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Measure and analyze results of department’s work through system data, KPI/Goal setting, and periodically collected time data in order to proactively communicate capability. Anticipate and address scaling needs as needed.

    • Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization. 

    • Establishes, monitors, and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain. 

    • Manages all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement, and logistics management activities.

    • Responsible for forecast planning and budget execution for supplies and inventory.

    • Provide leadership to assigned staff.  Responsible for staff hiring, training, goal setting, and performance feedback as well as managing workloads, schedules, regular 1:1s/departmental meetings and deadlines.  

    • Ensure communication between departments and with leadership is timely, clear, consistent, and in multiple modes.

    • Synchronize cross-departmental collaboration, trouble shooting, and conflict resolution.

    • Conduct weekly spot checks on department processes with staff; identify errors or inefficiencies in process or employee’s completion of procedure. Delegate corrective actions if needed.

    • Monitor department processing results for thresholds established in collaboration with Finance to ensure financial controls over processing efforts. 

    • Continuously evaluate processes and seek to apply innovation to reduce cost.

    • Create a departmental culture of innovation: continually seek process improvements and efficiencies, work to improve customer experience, and stay abreast of industry developments and application of best practices to areas for improvement.

    • Travel may be required.

    What it takes to be successful:

    • Proficient in object-oriented programming, relational database design, and familiarity with web application development

    • Experience with C#/.NET preferred, but not required

    • Experience with serverless technology preferred, but not required.  Hands-on knowledge of Azure Logic Apps and Functions is a plus.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    · You have experience leading a team of high-performing engineers of various experience levels and skillsets, including managing and shipping cross-functional or multi-team projects.

    · Work experience with relational databases, MS SQL Server preferred.

  • Product Manager

    The Product Manager position is focused on growth. You will propose and implement initiatives that drive revenue and user retention and leverage an understanding of customer needs combined with quantitative analysis to set the product direction for growth. You will own key growth metrics and work with the design, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to achieve company growth targets. Primary responsibilities include gathering and documenting product requirements, prioritizing the product backlog and ensuring all product initiatives are executed in line with the product vision. This position is an integral role where you will contribute to building world class solutions for our business and customers and drive a product led, customer focused evolution at Bestpass.


    • Work closely with the Product Team and Senior Leadership to gain a complete understanding of the product vision, direction, and needs. 

    • Promote the vision throughout the company to ensure Development, Sales, Customer Experience and Marketing efforts align with the 

    • Implement lean product methodologies and process. 

    • Implement, develop, and drive continuous discovery process.

    • Align teams in assessment of user interviews and prototype feedback. 

    • Create and maintain product documentation. Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product functions and features. 

    • Fill Product Owner role in Agile/Scrum processes. 

    • Coordinate and lead internal teams through the design, development, testing and post launch assessment of new product releases. Balance business objectives and customer needs, reconciling the goals of the business with benefits to the customer. 

    • Suggest and make strategic decisions on deliverables to balance full featured product with MLP (Minimum Lovable Product) when business needs dictate. Become the product’s “go to” resource for other internal teams. Gather product requirements, prioritize feature implementations, and improve overall user experience. 

    • Measure adoption, usage data, and business results from product launches. Gather user feedback and establish internal feedback loops. Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience. Analyze ideas and bring recommendations to leadership for prioritization. 

    • Oversee implementation and release workflow and deadlines from a Product perspective. Work with Development and QA throughout the sprint to ensure that the work will meet business requirements and is controlled for scope. Perform quality assurance acceptance testing and support user testing as appropriate on user stories. 

    • Work with users to validate concepts, themes, vision, and prototypes. Assist in developing and maintaining success measurements (KPIs). 

    • Clearly and continuously communicate the status and impact of work on the product roadmap, in development, and upcoming for release. 

    • Manage the product backlog.


    Requirements

    • Ability to convey complex ideas, system architectures, and interaction effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

    • Experience implementing or influencing lean product methodologies in an environment where everyone wears multiple hats. Experience with Software as a Service product 

    • Demonstrated experience creating effective business level product documentation

    • Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams

  • Fulfillment Coordinator - Full Time position - Albany, NY

    Our Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for the efficient processing of complex transponder orders to meet the needs of our customers in a fast-paced team environment. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) "in-the-office" position (not a warehouse environment). The starting hourly rate for the role is $14.30 per hour and is eligible for all company benefits upon hire, which includes 100% paid individual health care on 2 of the 3 plans offered.


    What you will be doing:

    • Learning and obtaining a thorough understanding of the various device types used within our department
    • Receiving inventory and assigning to appropriate accounts utilizing bar code scanner or transponder reader
    • Shipment prep work: stickering, casing, and adhesives
    • Continuously maintaining supplies, inventory, cleanliness, and organization within processing area and storage room
    • Processing Returns: Transponder op-test, de-casing, cleaning, applying adhesive, restocking returned transponders, removal of transponders from client accounts, & external customer email communications
    • Processing assigned customer transponder orders using our proprietary system and Enhanced Mailing Shipping (EMS) Neopost system
    • Mid-day and end-of-day shipping carrier account closeout (UPS & USPS)

Our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are responsible for providing superior professional support to our customers on our services. The CSR works to resolve customer inquiries or issues via phone (60%), chat (20%) or email (20%). The hours are Monday – Friday 10am – 7pm. (Our team does not work late evening or weekend hours!)


    What it takes to be successful:

    • Develops prospect and targeted leads for an assigned market segment, North American Territory, or Region, through inbound & outbound calls and on-line Chat functions

    Requirements

    The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for building out our email marketing nurture program and plan our trade show/events in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing. This role will be in charge of building and sending emails, creating email templates and planning for events. The Coordinator  will work with the Marketing Manager to drive conversions and set up events. 


    This role is part of the Marketing & Communications team and will help create and execute marketing plans to support prospecting, lead and pipeline generation along with brand initiatives.   


    What it takes to be successful:

    · Monitor, track, and report on all email marketing campaign performance (open rates, CTR, etc.). This role will provide analyses of email campaigns and recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness. 

    · Work with the communications team to manage and oversee all aspects of the email development process, including experimenting with new messaging and email templates, seeking to maximize the performance of initiatives and improve conversion rates 

    · Responsible for tracking and managing deadlines around event deliverables. Serve as liaison and handle all communication with events around contract deliverables, registration and event details 

    · Responsible for pre-event logistics planning for small roundtable events including venue sourcing, design requests, list pulls, event blasts, registration tracking, printing and shipping all materials, and attending events when in-person events are applicable. 

    · Manage Bestpass email calendar and events calendar

    This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers within the assigned market segment.  The NAM maintains effective communications between Sr. leadership, sales support, operations, implementation and customer service to effectively handle the life-cycle of a customer, from lead to prospect, to close and beyond.


    This is an essential position requiring a highly self-motivated individual contributor working remotely, with the ability to handle multiple sales tasks at the same time.


    This role is both challenging and rewarding, giving the NAM a career growth path with opportunities in Bestpass sales hierarchy.  As a member of a fully integrated sales and marketing team, this position focuses on growing a new and existing customer base and will carry an individual quota and uncapped earning potential.?

    Once trained, you will use a combination of National sales initiatives and tools to sell Bestpass products and services, that help to build the Bestpass brand in the North American market.


    The NAM position will be responsible to acquire and facilitate ongoing growth and market penetration thru direct sales activities and will need to establish long-term strategic relationships with individuals and businesses thru the building of strong personal relationships that promote a solid book of business.  This is a quota bearing position. You will also be working with senior level executive and other key leadership to help build our brand.
