    Road Map:  Bestpass is looking for a social media coordinator to join our team to help us grow our social media presence and unlock new audiences. In this position, you will collaborate to develop social media campaigns across all our social channels and creativity will be important part of this role. You will be shooting content, images, and writing posts to engage our fleet audience.   


    What Your Ride Will Look Like:  


    Bestpass is looking for an IT Security & Compliance Engineer to help support its ISO 27001-certified Information Security Management System and assist with its network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding around corporate cybersecurity, data privacy and audit compliance and will still be able to support the reliability and performance of Bestpass systems.

    • Must be familiar with the management of information security, data privacy, data protection, data usability, performance, and data integrity.
    • Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications to and assess risks of new or existing software and systems.
    • Meet strict and aggressive timelines to conduct and finish assessments.
    • Identify areas of improvement in local practices relative to managing risks to data security and privacy.
    • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to key stakeholders.
    • Design, setup, administer and perform upgrades and patching of Windows and Linux server environments.
    • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.

     Show Off what You Have: 

    • 5+ years’ experience as a system or network administrator
    • Demonstrated knowledge and growth responsibilities in Windows and Linux environments
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Problem solving and ability to work under pressure
    • Experience in building and maintaining information security systems
    • Be able to manage and administer the threat and vulnerability management tools and have hands-on experience with Tenable Nessus

    Express Truck Tax, powered by Bestpass, is looking for a positive and professional Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. You’ll be our customers’ first point of contact, responsible for delivering an outstanding customer service experience via phone, chat, or email.

    Bestpass, Inc. (Albany New York) seeks a VP – Head of Product to act as the senior operational leader for Product Marketing, Market Research, and Product Management. Specifically, the VP Head of Product position will be responsible for the following duties:

    • Managing: Oversight and day to day management of product & data teams; 
    • Hiring: Building organizational structure, efficiently identifying "critical" positions and filling roles with A-players; 
    • Product Strategy: Analyzing market and customers; Creating business cases and developing product roadmap that aligns with company’s strategic objectives and solves customer painpoints; 
    • Translation: Translation of roadmap into detailed milestones and linking to stories/sprint execution (Agile); 
    • Product Usage: Ensuring adoption of new features, high feature and overall customer NPS/CSAT; 
    • Product Marketing: Creating relevant content and enablement assets aligned with overall marketing strategy; 
    • Pricing & Packaging: Developing pricing and packaging strategy that maximizes ARR and net retention;

    • Engineering: Forming close partnership with Engineering to deliver quality products on time and on budget;

    Requires:

    • Bachelor’s/higher in product management, business, economics, computer science or related field. 
    • The position also requires experience and domain knowledge in financial technology, software as a service, or similar, previous experience in tolling / trucking / transportation. 
    • Preferred 5 years’ experience in a product leadership role and experience with the following software/tools: Miro or Figma for UI prototyping and concept sketching; Microsoft Power BI; Microsoft SQL Server; Salesforce; Survicate or similar; Web development – HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML; Atlassian Jira; Microsoft Azure & Azure DevOps; Mobile application development experience preferred. 
    • Travel requirements: Bi-monthly customer visits nationwide; Monthly board and executive meetings in Albany or Philadelphia.

    • Orchestrate a long-term social media calendar for each of Bestpass’s key audience groups and schedule content, aligning closely with Bestpass’s editorial calendar 
    • Leverage data to build action plans around responding to comments  
    • Partner with events manager to amplify Bestpass’s presence and messaging at key events 
    • Work with cross-functional teams across the company to align on objectives, themes, and messaging.

    • 1-3 years in marketing and social media. 
    • Shown proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally 
    • Project Management. Highly organized, mindful of deadlines with the ability to multi-task and work under limited supervision. Social media moves fast, and we want to give you the freedom to keep ours up to date.  
    • Collaboration. This position will work closely with our graphic designer and marketing managers to align our social media strategy with our marketing strategy.

    Road Map:

    The Accountant is responsible for assisting, preparing and keeping financial and business transaction data up to date, applying accepted accounting/departmental procedures, and preparing reports to ensure accurate accounting records. Additionally, the Accountant will maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.

    What Your Ride Will Look Like:

    • Reconcile daily cash receipts from bank report to both proprietary billing system and Quickbooks (daily)
    • Apply income funds to client accounts in proprietary billing system (daily)
    • Create payments in proprietary billing system for manual payers (weekly)
    • Execute account replenishment request process to request funds and generate payments (daily)
    • Make Accounts Receivable Collection calls and maintain collections status on shared spreadsheet for visibility to Management.(Daily – as needed) 
    • Run reports & analyze toll balances to determine proper funding levels with Agencies. Fund accounts per analysis findings (2x a week minimum)
    • Produce Royalty Checks – get signed and mailed with supporting documentation (quarterly)
    • Download Monthly Agency Statements (as available)
    • Look up balances for manual agencies and enter into Proprietary Account Management System (2x a week minimum)
    • Coordinate Mailings: daily Replenishment Request and monthly Statements
    • Answer department phone line
    • Modify client payments (modifies client payments and answers finance related inquiries.
    • Serve as initial contact for inter-departmental client related questions (i.e. payment modification requests from Customer Service, etc.) (daily)
    • Fill out customer reference inquiries requesting information of our clients.
    • Annual Audit contributor
    • Perform account closures and refund payments when required (monthly)
    • Create commission reports in excel to distribute to sales team (monthly)
    • Customer Account Maintenance in Proprietary billing system (as needed)
    • Organize client bond paperwork; monitor due date expiration and facilitate renewal.
    •  Account reconciliations, validations, and confirmations
    • Cross-training on all aspects of Finance and Accounting duties

    Road Map:

    The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting the FP&A manager with developing the operating and financial plan required to achieve managements strategic plan.

    What Your Ride Will Look Like:

    • Identify reporting inconsistencies within the business units and sets standards for budgeting, performance metrics and reporting.
    • Monthly reporting on Analysis of historical financials, including variance explanations, updated forecasts with risks and opportunities to current plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Confirms that the financial strategies and initiatives are integrated with corporate and business strategies.
    • Assists in financial analysis for informing pricing scenarios and business models.
    • Analyzes opportunities and risk and recommends alternatives to senior management.

    Road Map

    The Fulfillment Coordinator efficiently processes complex transponder orders to meet the needs of our customers in a fast-paced team environment.

    How You May Ask:

    By identifying and working with other departments to ensure our transponders are readily available for shipping.

    What Your Ride Will Look Like:

    • Develops a thorough understanding of various device types used within department.
    • Receives inventory and assigns to appropriate accounts utilizing bar code scanner or transponder reader.
    • Completes shipment prep work: stickering, casing, and adhesives
    • Continuously maintains supplies, inventory, cleanliness, and organization within processing area and storage room
    • Company-wide mail distribution.
    • Operates USPS Neopost metered mail machine operation.
    • Weekly recycling bin placement and retrieval.
    • Greet shipping carriers to accept delivery & pick-ups.
    • Processes returns: Transponder op-te• Dst, De-casing, cleaning, applying adhesive, restocking returned transponders, removal of transponders from client accounts, and external customer email communications
    • Processes assigned customer transponder orders using Bestpass Account Management System (BPAM) and enhanced Mailing Shipping (EMS) Neopost system.
    • Mid-day and end-of-day shipping carrier account closeout (UPS & USPS).
    • Conduct periodic time collection of tasks for efficiency and capacity reviews by management.
    • Update SOPs related to position as applicable.
    • Continually seek process improvement and efficiencies; communicate ideas & suggestions.

    Show Off What You've Got:

    • Prior experience working in a fulfillment/order processing environment is helpful.
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word, and Outlook).
    • Ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
    • Consistently works toward building and maintaining a cohesive team environment.
    • HS diploma/GED.
