  • Sales Development Representative - Albany, New York

    At Bestpass our goal is to offer flexible and powerful solutions based on our innovative technology & services platform to assist in the creation of a transport sector that is responsive to the evolving needs of business, government and the wider community.


    The Sales Development Representative’s (SDR) will be the first line of communication with prospects.  Ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. We’re looking for a strong communicator with the skill set to quickly learn and deliver compelling messages around how Bestpass provides value to our customers to develop a consistent flow of sales-ready leads. 


    As a member of a fully integrated, national team, this position collaborates across our marketing and sales ecosystem with a focus on building pipeline.


    What you’ll do:

    • Generate qualified leads through a multi-channel approach, engaging with and developing prospects

    • Document prospect research and interactions in CRM  

    • Learn and continue to build on prospecting best practices 

    • Qualify and prioritize inbound leads.

    • Proactively and responsively perform calling and emailing activities with minimal oversight.


    Requirements

    • Highly self-motivated with a steadfast work ethic

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills

    • Ability to work independently as well as in team environment


    Nice to have:

  • Product Manager

    The Product Manager position is focused on growth. You will propose and implement initiatives that drive revenue and user retention and leverage an understanding of customer needs combined with quantitative analysis to set the product direction for growth. You will own key growth metrics and work with the design, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to achieve company growth targets. Primary responsibilities include gathering and documenting product requirements, prioritizing the product backlog and ensuring all product initiatives are executed in line with the product vision. This position is an integral role where you will contribute to building world class solutions for our business and customers and drive a product led, customer focused evolution at Bestpass.


    • Work closely with the Product Team and Senior Leadership to gain a complete understanding of the product vision, direction, and needs. 

    • Promote the vision throughout the company to ensure Development, Sales, Customer Experience and Marketing efforts align with the 

    • Implement lean product methodologies and process. 

    • Implement, develop, and drive continuous discovery process.

    • Align teams in assessment of user interviews and prototype feedback. 

    • Create and maintain product documentation. Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product functions and features. 

    • Fill Product Owner role in Agile/Scrum processes. 

    • Coordinate and lead internal teams through the design, development, testing and post launch assessment of new product releases. Balance business objectives and customer needs, reconciling the goals of the business with benefits to the customer. 

    • Suggest and make strategic decisions on deliverables to balance full featured product with MLP (Minimum Lovable Product) when business needs dictate. Become the product’s “go to” resource for other internal teams. Gather product requirements, prioritize feature implementations, and improve overall user experience. 

    • Measure adoption, usage data, and business results from product launches. Gather user feedback and establish internal feedback loops. Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience. Analyze ideas and bring recommendations to leadership for prioritization. 

    • Oversee implementation and release workflow and deadlines from a Product perspective. Work with Development and QA throughout the sprint to ensure that the work will meet business requirements and is controlled for scope. Perform quality assurance acceptance testing and support user testing as appropriate on user stories. 

    • Work with users to validate concepts, themes, vision, and prototypes. Assist in developing and maintaining success measurements (KPIs). 

    • Clearly and continuously communicate the status and impact of work on the product roadmap, in development, and upcoming for release. 

    • Manage the product backlog.


    Requirements

    • Ability to convey complex ideas, system architectures, and interaction effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

    • Experience implementing or influencing lean product methodologies in an environment where everyone wears multiple hats. Experience with Software as a Service product 

    • Demonstrated experience creating effective business level product documentation

    • Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams 

    • Inquisitive – willing to ask questions and seek out resolutions. Strong time management, prioritization skills, project management/organizational skills 

    • Excellent technical, analytical, and strategic planning skills. Ability to work under pressure and complete the projects by deadlines 

    • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Internal and external customer focus. Thrive on spending time with customers to understand their problems and working with internal technical teams to develop innovative solutions

    • Ability to Product Manage user interface and information architecture related work as well as work around data reconciliation, file transfer error handling and error resolution.   

    • Ability to run basic SQL queries to help inform product decisions

    • Ability to travel as position requires 


    Bonus points 

    • if you have experience with payment gateways and/or started a business or have experience in a financial product related space 

    • if you have experience in the productization of APIs

    • if you have transportation industry experience

  • National Account Manager - North Central based

    The National Account Manager (NAM) position is responsible for acquiring new enterprise level business clients, as well as maintaining existing accounts within a specific segment size in the North American market (US, CA & MX).  The NAM is responsible for utilizing effective sales strategies to secure the sale of Bestpass products and SaaS based toll management services.

    This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers within the assigned market segment.  The NAM maintains effective communications between Sr. leadership, sales support, operations, implementation and customer service to effectively handle the life-cycle of a customer, from lead to prospect, to close and beyond.


    This is an essential position requiring a highly self-motivated individual contributor working remotely, with the ability to handle multiple sales tasks at the same time.


    This role is both challenging and rewarding, giving the NAM a career growth path with opportunities in Bestpass sales hierarchy.  As a member of a fully integrated sales and marketing team, this position focuses on growing a new and existing customer base and will carry an individual quota and uncapped earning potential.?

    Once trained, you will use a combination of National sales initiatives and tools to sell Bestpass products and services, that help to build the Bestpass brand in the North American market.


    The NAM position will be responsible to acquire and facilitate ongoing growth and market penetration thru direct sales activities and will need to establish long-term strategic relationships with individuals and businesses thru the building of strong personal relationships that promote a solid book of business.  This is a quota bearing position. The NAM will work with the Bestpass market segment teams, Inside Account Executives and Customer Services group with cross-functionality in multiple tasks that include sales opportunity identification and customer implementation.


    • Identify and acquire new business relationships in support of strategic initiatives that are supported by Bestpass products and SaaS based toll management services.

    • Manage and over-achieve Bestpass sales forecast and personal performance plan.

    • Conduct weekly and monthly face to face to meetings, strategic engagements, and sales pipeline activities with key sales prospects in the North American Market.

    • Drive pipeline development, identify potential sales opportunities, define a solutions vision, develop business cases and ROI analysis, and close sales.

    • Create a comprehensive sales plan, which will serve as the road map for developing Bestpass relationships at the National level.

    • Orchestrate cross company resources to support personal Sales initiatives.

    • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with the Bestpass leadership team. 

    • Attend Customer Events and Tradeshows as required.

    • Up to 60% travel


    Requirements

    What are we looking for?

    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

    • Overall 5+ years of related industry experience (Trucking, Fuel Card, FinTech, Wireless, M2M, MRM Solutions)

    • Highly developed knowledge and understanding of all business development activities

    • Strategic sales skills, ability to grasp strategic initiatives & vision of target accounts, to facilitate sales & effectively close business.

    • Leadership, consensus-building abilities with a proven track record of coordinating and mobilizing resources productively.

    • Must be experienced in basic personal computer operation and capable of effectively using current Microsoft Windows applications (Excel & Word) and custom Bestpass software.

    • CRM system knowledge (Salesforce.com or equivalent)

    • Proven background or aptitude for business development

    Our Account Executives are responsible for increasing the Bestpass customer base through the acquisition of new business to new and existing accounts. This is a full-time, inside telephone sales role with a base salary plus commission.


    What does it take to be successful?


    • Identify revenue opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and relationship building

    • Own the entire sales process from prospecting to completion of the sale

    • Research and contact prospects to identify key contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline

    • Utilize a consultative sales approach to explain the value of our service

    • Be knowledgeable on Bestpass services as well as customer needs and requirements


    Requirements

    What are we looking for?

    • 2+ years’ experience of inside sales B2B experience

  • Project Manager - Contract position

    We currently have a contract opening for a Project Manager that will be working remotely.


    Bestpass, Inc., the provider of a comprehensive payment platform with a focus on nationwide toll management for customers nationwide, is currently looking to contract with an experienced, independent Project Manager or Project Management Firm to manage the delivery of various time sensitive products.   The project contractor will work with Bestpass cross functional teams to develop and manage deliverables and timelines for this new product line.  The term of the contract is anticipated to be for 6 months, with an option to extend another 6 months.  




    Requirements

    Skills/Competencies Required:

    • The Contractor must have 3+ years of IT project management/leadership experience

    • Experience tracking and reporting out on key project metrics and trend analysis

    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Contractors with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are a plus  


    All details of the terms of the engagement, including measurable deliverables and compensation, are to be determined.

    This role is an independent contractor role and is not eligible for Bestpass Inc. benefits.
