How does Bestpass work
Our pre-paid accounts offer you 100% coverage of the major toll roads nationwide. Our online order form will collect information about your truck including a license plate. We ask $350 to get started that goes into a toll deposit – yours to use as you pass through tolls. When your toll deposit dips to 50% empty we’ll automatically refill it using the credit card on file.
Bestpass manages your toll charges, consolidates them into a single statement, looks for mistakes by the toll authorities and apply for credits on your behalf. You’ll have access to all your account information with our online customer portal.
How do you protect me?
No matter which coverage/transponder you acquire from Bestpass we register all your license plates with every toll authority. This ensures that, if your transponder isn’t read correctly, you receive a plate toll rather than a violation. This alone usually covers the cost of our service.
What does the process look like?
- Sign up for an account. (15 or fewer vehicles)
- Transponder(s) are shipped to any address you like within a few days with installation instructions.
- Hit the road! Your transponder works the moment it's installed. Once your account balance falls below 50% of your initial deposit, we'll automatically replenish it with the credit card on file
- We'll email you a comprehensive monthly statement detailing your toll payments and usage.
- You have access to Review your toll transactions and check your account balance from your online customer portal.
Do you cover personal vehicles
If you have a car you’d like to add to an account you opened for your truck you can add it with a call to our customer support team. However, we do work with Mercedes and Audi. Select models from those OEMs have integrated toll devices and we support those. Have a look at Payviam.com for more info.
What is a toll deposit?
Our accounts are pre-paid. We ask prepayment of $350 to get started; that goes into a toll deposit – your money to use as you pass through tolls. As you add vehicles to your account, we ask an additional $100. . This is your money, not a fee.
What’s the cost of the device
- A one-time $55 fee for the transponder.
- $11/month for account maintenance.
- A small monthly fee for each vehicle (depends on geographic coverage, ranging from $2.50- $4.00).
- NY EZ-pass charges a fee of $0.50/mo/account.

Do you offer Weigh Station Bypass?
Our bypass solution is Drivewyze, which has the largest coverage of bypass stations, over 900 sites covered in the USA and Canada. Drivewyze delivers bypas service to your ELD, tablet or phone. Once you complete your enrollment for toll we will provide a link to sign up with Drivewyze.
Do you cover bridges?
Our transponders work on 65+ toll roads. There are some bridges and roads that require a second transponder, and we do sell those. You can call us to order these after you enroll with us.

Do you offer regional coverages rather than the entire country?

How long does it take to get a device?
After you submit an order, it takes us 1 – 2 business days to ship. Orders ship out of New York via Ground shipping for no charge. You’ll see some expedited shipping options at checkout.
What is ORDP and is it included with toll?
ORDP is a separate offer and it does have an additional charge. This Open Road Driver Protection plan provides assistance in finding legal representation for outstanding tickets for driving violations. It is not required to open an account for our toll service.
