Challenge

Golden Waffles, a fast-growing food manufacturer and distributor, discovered a critical compliance issue: over 135 company vehicles were titled under individual sales reps' names across multiple states. This outdated practice, originally meant to meet state-specific requirements, led to major operational and regulatory complications.
Rob Arbeiter, newly appointed to oversee fleet operations, was overwhelmed by daily registration issues, constant email traffic, and a lack of centralized visibility. The result was significant administrative strain and increased exposure to compliance violations, putting both efficiency and safety at risk.

Solution

Recognizing the need for deep compliance expertise, Golden Waffles partnered with Fleetworthy to overhaul their fleet management approach. Fleetworthy migrated nearly all vehicles into a centralized IRP (International Registration Plan) account based in Indiana—streamlining registration processes and aligning them under one jurisdiction.
They also helped transfer 99% of the vehicle titles into Golden Waffles’ name, resolving ownership inconsistencies and compliance risks. In addition, Fleetworthy implemented proactive registration monitoring and automated alerts to prevent lapses, providing Rob’s team with real-time oversight and full control of the fleet's regulatory status.

Results

Fleetworthy’s partnership helped Golden Waffles achieve full compliance and regain operational clarity. Clean DOT inspections, reduced compliance emails, and near-elimination of registration delays allowed Rob’s team to shift from reactive crisis management to strategic operations.
